The program was established in 1980 to give undergraduate students the opportunity to experience research work. Up to 2 grants will be available at each dental school in Australia.

Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in dentistry or other oral health program at the time of application and be working in a university department under the supervision of a member of the academic staff.
