Kidney Health Australia provides scholarships for undergraduate students who wish to spend their summer vacation undertaking a supervised research project related to the causes, prevention and treatment of disorders of the kidneys and urinary tract. The application should be accompanied by a covering letter signed by the student's supervisor indicating that the project has been discussed and that space and supervision will be available in the department over the summer vacation. Applicants should send 4 copies of the application to the AKF Medical Director's office in Adelaide by 30 September. There is no application form.

Eligibility
Scholarships are open to undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of full-time study in medicine or a course related to biological science. Preference will be given to Australian applicants enrolled in Australian universities. If funds permit, consideration may be given to supporting overseas applicants enrolled at Australian universities or Australian applicants enrolled at overseas universities. Part-time students are not eligible. The award is made available at the end of the project after a satisfactory report on the outcome has been received.
